Founded in 2019, Koning Hekwereld is a family business specializing in custom gate solutions. They design, build, and supply everything from automatic sliding gates for residential properties to heavy-duty swing gates for industrial facilities, tailoring each solution to meet specific security, access, and aesthetic requirements.As a startup in a competitive market, Koning Hekwereld needed rapid growth but lacked internal digital marketing expertise. Without proven marketing channels generating consistent revenue, they brought me in to develop and execute their complete digital marketing strategy.
Koning Hekwereld was generating all their business through strategic partnerships with other gate manufacturers. They had no marketing channels or systems to generate their own leads and sales.The biggest problems they faced were low brand awareness as a completely unknown new player in the luxury gate market, minimal website traffic with no clear strategy to attract potential customers, unpredictable lead flow that relied exclusively on partnerships and referrals, and revenue that was completely dependent on partnership deals rather than their own marketing efforts.Without these fundamental marketing systems in place, their growth potential was entirely limited by their partners' capacity and willingness to refer business.
